When'd 02:44
I find it so hard to cope with your conception of reality I'm really only drinking to save your personality I'm so bored with all your words Your thoughts and feelings are absurd and I don't care just what you've heard, "don't ask me, I'm just a girl" When'd you get so predictable? So obscenely easy to read? So completely understandable, and not just a little bit insane? I wasn't really listening to anything you had to say I find it all upsetting the trauma of the every day I called it, mundane and pedantic a conversational holocaust I've never seen jazz hands so frantic but it's my attention you lost I'll have another whisky and pretend you didn't say a thing I'll tell you when I've had enough I'll drink until you're interesting But now my glass is empty and I done smoked all the weed I'll tell you when I've had enough I'll drink until you're interesting

Pukebucket 03:17
Dehydrated, and so hung over, desperate for more than just lukewarm tap water. Living discreetly is a bore, when you'd still much rather make out with the floor. I never get too high to drive, but I want you to stay alive, so I guess I'll just hold off for awhile. Sleeping on a chesterfield in the kitchen. And puking in your back yard at 6am, these early morning rains are refreezing and wash all the evidence away. Pukebucket next to the side of the stage, for, y'know, just in case. I want to embrace every beautiful thing I see and walk across the crystal clear watered lakes of the rockies

Seems 03:15
It seems, it just seems to me, I'm not a judge but I'm not often wrong, and this is not a value judgement I can see the life you've lived past your actions & mannerisms to the lonely child you're still so desperate to hide

So 03:13
Get in the van, and drive wave your past goodbye back turned to the grinding wheel you call your life Your feelings are a lie you can never leave behind the stupid fucking mind you hide behind the rhyme So bring it on, we're too far gone, gotta keep on keeping on with a shrug and a sigh and a world weary smile, doing everything we can to get by when nobody else will be any help, we're left to fend for ourselves contra spem spero, hope against hope i will meet you at the end of time and the flesh of your body will reunite with mine So bring it on, we're too far gone, gotta keep on keeping on with a shrug and a sigh, and a world weary smile, every day until you die when nobody else will be any help, we're left to fend for ourselves having finally reached the end of our rope So bring it on, we're too far gone, gotta keep on keeping on with a shrug and a sigh, and a world weary smile, every day until you die and nobody else will be any help, so we're left to fend for ourselves still trying to escape these cliched tropes

about

Latcho Drom Edmonton, Alberta

Latcho Drom is a band from Edmonton that plays weird loud music about human fallibility, historical abuses of power, and the power of love. Their latest release, Whiteout, chronicles a breadth of Albertan experiences. Ride The Tempo called it "absurd but totally endearing."
